Russell’s Convergence of Yiddish Music and Negro Spirituals at Schoenberg 5/6/15

“Convergence” features the journey of African American singer Anthony Mordecai Tzvi Russell to his conversion to Judaism.  “Convergence” is Russell’s dialogue between Yiddish music and Negro spirituals. Subtitled “Spirituals from the Shtetl; Davening from the Delta,” the performance takes place on May 6th, 8pm at Schoenberg Hall. For a link to the production, Click Here.
