In breaking down the writing and publication process, I go over parts of the book and can field questions about the topic.” Nancy Wang Yuen is the author of Reel Inequality: Hollywood Actors and Racism (Rutgers University Press, 2016), the first book to examine the barriers actors of color face in Hollywood and how they creatively challenge stereotypes. Dr. Yuen is an expert on race and media, regularly contributing to the Huffington Post.
