the Roxane Chisholm and Jeannette Chisholm Moore

Endowed Scholarship Fund

In April 2007, Jeannette Chisholm Moore established an endowed scholarship in honor of her deceased daughter, Roxane Chisholm.  Awards were made in spring 2013 to three undergraduate students – Altagracia Alvarado, Nyesha Johnson-Blewett, and Na’Keenya Jackson.  The four MA student scholarship recipients are – Jonathan Freeman, Alejandra Griffin, Kimber Thomas, and Marques Vestal.  All received funding based on their academic excellence and strong interest in African American Studies.
