Highlights include Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, John Densmore, scholarship fund for UCLA African American students, Chandra Ford’s research on how public health experts can reduce racial bias in their work, and Steven Nelson named the Andrew W. Mellon Professor in the National Gallery of Art’s Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts.

Upcoming events include Ethnic and Indigenous Studies Welcome on Mon., Oct. 1, 2018, 4 pm – 6 pm at James West Alumni Center and Black Convocation on Tues., Oct. 9, 2018, 5:30 pm – 8 pm at Carnesale Commons – Palisades Room.

2019-20 Call for Applications for the UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program! Applications are due November 1, 2018.
