The 2026 Bunche Fellows Research Showcase highlighted the most recent cohort of fellows helping to advance bold research across a range of social, political, and cultural issues impacting Black communities. Throughout the showcase, fellows presented original research projects grounded in rigorous inquiry. The event created space for interdisciplinary dialogue and intellectual exchange while celebrating the academic excellence and leadership of emerging researchers at UCLA. As part of the Bunche Center’s longstanding mission to cultivate Black scholarship and public engagement, the showcase underscores the vital role young scholars play in shaping more informed and equitable futures.
