Harm & Repair: Community Engagement Project Report on Reparations in California, produced on behalf of the California Task Force on Reparations, presents findings from statewide community listening sessions. Through stories, data, and dialogue, the report captures how communities define harm and what true repair and justice should look like. By documenting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data about the lived experience of communities, the report ensures that California’s reparations efforts are informed by those most affected by anti-Black historical racism and inequity.
