The 2026 End of Year Reception gathered members of the Bunche Center Faculty Advisory Committee and the broader Bunche Center community to celebrate another year of scholarship and collaboration to advance the Center’s mission and strengthen the work of scholars across the UCLA campus. At the event, we also honored Dr. Cheryl L. Keyes, Professor of Ethnomusicology and Global Jazz Studies, for her service as the department chair of the Department of African American Studies from 2020 to 2026.
