A special issue of the Journal of Pan African Studies entitled, Africans in Mexico: History, Race and Place, has just been released.  The guest editor of this edition is Alva Stevenson, Program Coordinator, Center for Oral History Research at the Charles E. Young Research Library.  Stevenson also worked with the Bunche Center on its Black Los Angeles Project. Alva Stevenson
