NOMMO, UCLA’s Afrikan American Newsmagazine, has a rich history and a bright future. This moderated panel discussion will explore the newly established Bunche Center NOMMO archives and examine its history. The panel will look at NOMMO’s establishment, how its coverage (then and now) differs from other campus publications, and how NOMMO has been affected by politics (prop 209), campus climate, and technology.
