Stevenson Honored with Gold Shield Faculty Award

May 22, 2014 – UCLA History Professor and Bunche Center affiliated faculty member Brenda Stevenson was recently awarded UCLA’s 2014 Gold Shield Faculty Award for outstanding scholarship, teaching and service.  The prize provides an unrestricted $30,000 award to an exceptional mid-career full professor in a department with an undergraduate program. In 2014, Professor Stevenson also received the Organization of American History, James A. Rawley Book Award.
