Kelley on Panel for Hammer Museum’s Black Music & Aesthetics of Protest 6/2/15
May 27, 2015 – UCLA History Professor and Bunche Center affiliated faculty member Robin Kelley serves on a panel exploring the role of Black opera and other genres of Black music in achieving racial justice and social change, the persistent exclusionary politics of musical genres, and the future revolutionary potential of historically defined Black genres.
