Scot Brown Featured on "Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution" and "Unsung" 2/16 & 2/17
February 16, 2016 – Scot Brown, an Associate Professor of History and African American Studies at UCLA and a Bunche Center affiliated faculty member, is featured commentator in the documentary, “The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution,” which will debut on Tuesday, February 16th on PBS at 9pm. He will also serve as music historian on TV One’s “Unsung,” which will air on Wednesday, February 17th, (8pm ET and 5pm PT). The episode tells the story of the great jazz and R&B virtuoso, Patrice Rushen.
