Did you know March is Women’s History Month? Visit the UCLA Bunche Library Media Center where adjacent to the entrance you will find a display case on Black Feminism to commemorate this important month!
The display provides insights on the genesis of Black Feminism/Feminists, their struggles and victories, as well as contemporary issues the movement continues to address. Also featured are books from notable authors and activists who have contributed to the Black Feminist movement – including Roxane Gay, whose New York Times bestselling book, Bad Feminist, is this year’s UCLA Common Book. What’s the UCLA Common Book? (Click Here).
Come explore this display, the authors and books, and get to know the rich history behind them. The Bunche Library and Media Center is in Haines 135–while you’re there, ask for a FREE copy of Bad Feminist (while supplies last). For more information, contact email@example.com.
